Today was a fantastic day. We took the girls to the rodeo fairgrounds and it was a BIG HIT. They absolutely had the best time and it seemed like we had to leave way too soon. We started out at Kidstown and they immediately wanted to ride the ponies. How could we say no? They did fantastic and they had this smirk on their faces the entire time telling us they loved every second of it.
We then hit the petting zoo.....lots of fun there.
We then found some precious pink and purple cowgirl hats that they absolutely fell in love with. They actually wore them all day and then even wore them in the backyard to play when we got home.
We also found giant lollipops....

The last thing we did was ride the carousel.
The day was so much fun. I think we might want to go back next weekend to check out more of the animals we didn't get to see today.

My Beautiful sweet cowgirl granddaughters. They look so grown up like they have been riding ponies for years. I can't wait till the mutton bustin (sp?)
Whatever that contest is with riding the sheep. Those will be some really cute pics too.
