Painting with a Twist

On Saturday night, I went to Painting with a Twist with Allison, April & Dawn. It was a fantastic evening and lots of fun spending time with these ladies. We enjoyed it so much that we signed up again for late March.....

Girl Scout "Thinking Day"

The girls had "Thinking Day" on Friday evening. In theory, it was a great event. In reality, it was a disaster. Way too many girls, not enough organization and a frenzy of activity.....very little, if any, involved thinking or learning anything. They did have a "passport" and they got a flag sticker for each country they visited. I don't think they could tell me one fact about any of the countries. Oh well, they had fun. I think it's more about socializing anyway, which works great for me.

Daisy Meeting

Just a couple of pictures I took before the Daisy meeting last Sunday.....we turned in all of our girl scout cookie money and signed up for camp in May. Lots of activities going on with girl scouts but they seem love all of them.

Valentine's Day

We decorated their valentine boxes.....actually, I did most of the decorating but it was fun. On Valentine's Day, I volunteered to help with their valentine party at school and they were adequately loaded up on sugar that day. They made heart necklaces and bookmarks and played games with their friends.

100th Day of School

The girls had to make a t-shirt to wear for the 100th day of school. The only rule was that the shirt had to include 100 items. They found these rather large jewels at Hobby Lobby and they went to work. Kristen wanted a heart and Sarah wanted a rainbow. I think they turned out rather cute. These girls are growing up before my eyes......I love them so much.

Olivia's Painting with a Twist Party

Several weeks ago the girls were invited to Olivia's 6th birthday party at Painting with a Twist. I've wanted to go to Painting with a Twist for quite some time; however, I just hadn't planned it. So my first time to go was without the wine and in the middle of the day. The girls had a blast and did a fantastic job on their paintings. The moms planned our own night for this coming weekend, which I'm looking forward to!!
