Girls Day

Allison will be moving to North Carolina in a couple of weeks and we are sad to see her and Olivia go. We planned one last big event for all of the girls to send Olivia and Allison off in style.

We met at The Melting Pot for dessert fondue. It was fabulous!!! Beyond fabulous, actually!! We ordered a milk chocolate and s'mores fondue for the girls. The big girls ordered dark chocolate and a bananas foster fondue. The bananas foster was by far the best and my new favorite dessert. Seriously...it doesn't get any better than that one.

Girls below....Samantha, Olivia, Sarah, Addison & Kristen.

Morgan joined us for fondue. It was so nice to see her. She's as beautiful as ever and the girls missed her terribly.

After fondue, we went to The Domain for pedicures. The place was awesome and accommodated all 9 of us perfectly. The girls enjoyed the massage chairs, picking out polish and getting zebra stripes painted on their nails.

As much as the girls enjoyed the day.....the moms may of had more fun.  (Dawn, Allison, Me & April)

Today was the perfect girls day!!!

The Park & The Library

Last Saturday I took the girls for donuts and we enjoyed them at the park. I just HAD to try and fit them in the baby swing. They didn't fit....I guess this will be the last time for a picture. :-(

Here's the comparison over the years....

10 months

14 months

2 years old

We then went to the library to return books and check out more. These girls love books and reading. That makes me very happy. :-)

End of the Year Slideshow

Mrs. E put together a slideshow that she showed on the last day of school. I've been meaning to post it for weeks now. She also gave a copy to each student to keep.

The Gaylord

We spent last weekend at the Gaylord.....I really love going there. We got there about 4:00 on Friday and we went straight for the pool. The girls love the lazy river. They are big enough to go down the water slide but they still keep themselves entertained.

After the pool we went back to change for the fireworks. The fireworks go off every Friday night during the summer. They do them on Lake Grapevine, which is behind the hotel. The best view is at the top of the parking garage and they block the top off. They have a DJ and it makes for a fun atmosphere. The fireworks were great.

Saturday proved to be another fun day. I wasn't quite sure what the weather was going to do because there was rain all around Grapevine. We decided to go anyway and luckily it never rained one drop on us. It was overcast but that made it easy to spend all day there without getting too hot.

The girls were completely worn out after all day playing in the pool but they were hungry for dinner. Joe snapped a few pictures before dinner while I finished getting ready. They are so stinkin cute.

Told you....tired. Sarah fell asleep at the dinner table with a tortilla in her hand. The girl was wiped out.

She did decide to wake up as Joe was carrying her and she overheard Kristen asking to get her picture made with Fiona. Sarah's head popped up and she wanted in the photo.
She then lasted another 30 minutes or so before they were begging to go to bed.

On Sunday.....the same as the day before. We decided we needed to leave around 2 to head back home. The Gaylord always promises to make for a fun weekend.
