End of Another Soccer Season

The Flames did great this season. I really didn't think the girls should continue on with soccer but towards the end of the season, they flourished. Kristen scored her first goal this season and they both improved dramatically. Very proud of how they ended.

End of Year Bowling Party

We finished out our first year of Brownies at the Bowling Alley. The girls enjoyed the day together and it was a fun way to end such a memorable year. Seriously, we've done so much and girl scouts has been a wonderful experience.

The girls also brought their donations they had been gathering for the homeless. It wasn't just about fun....they made care packages with essential items to help about 25 homeless people in the Austin area.

Kayaking & Campout

This post is from early May when we did a backyard campout with the troop. We set up our tent (by ourselves) on Saturday before meeting up for the evening. Later that day, we met at Nicole's and drove to Zilker Park where we rented kayaks on Town Lake. The girls did great and we really got the hang of it after awhile. From there we went to Zilker Park for a picnic dinner before heading out to the Graffiti Park for pictures.

And this picture wasn't even planned. Kristen & Karis had no idea the capital building was right inside of them. Too cute.

Last Day of 2nd Grade

June 5, 2015 - Last day of 2nd grade for these two cuties.

This is the last year they will be together in the same class, or planned anyway. I love them so much. They are growing up so fast and I'm so incredibly proud of them.

They had another amazing teacher this year, Mrs. Thomas. She was incredible.....hope the 3rd grade teachers are just as great.
