Hey Mommy....It's Snowing!

They absolutely loved watching it snow and they just had to get out to walk around in it and toss a few snowballs.

Childhood Friends & Memorable Parenting Moments

On Sunday we took the girls to Target because we simply needed to get out of the house and I had a few things I needed to pick up. Joe had to meet us there because he had to work on Sunday. I decided I would let the girls pick out some "big girl underwear" and Sarah got Elmo panties and Kristen got some with princesses on them. As we were leaving that section of Target we ran into Addison and her family. Addison is in their class at school and Kristen tells us that Addison is her Best Friend. Kristen went crazy when she saw Addison and they started hugging, jumping and screaming at the top of their lungs. They then started to hop up and down the aisles together at Target. It was really cute to see them interact together. Addison was also there getting big girl underwear so they all 3 compared what they picked out....it was beyond cute to see them standing in Target comparing underwear selections. I guess I thought they were too young to have friends that we would casually run into around town but I guess not. My babies are truly no longer babies.

When then decided we wanted to go to Chuy's for dinner since it was right around 5:00. The girls wanted to ride with Joe and he said for me to go ahead since he was going to stop for gas. I got us a table and I patiently waited for them to arrive since I was starving. Here they all come and Sarah and Kristen are each holding up a pair of underwear waving it me and telling me to look.....all while walking through Chuy's with everyone looking and wondering why in the world the girls are waving underwear in a restaurant. I kindly asked Joe why he let them bring them in and all he could say is that they wanted to bring all 6 pairs each but he talked them down to 1. There you have it. We negotiate with underwear.

Sesame Street Live

Today we went to Sesame Street Live and I have to admit that we all four enjoyed it. It was entertaining and the girls really enjoyed seeing Elmo and friends.

Dan, Alissa and Ainsley also went so we were able to meet up afterwards for a quick lunch. Kristen, Sarah & Ainsley seemed to have fun at lunch playing together and they looked super cute sitting in this booth. We're looking forward to going to the beach with them....it's going to be lots of fun!

My Two Valentines

The girls got a balloon, books and a Minnie Mouse pink cup for Valentine's Day. They are obsessed with balloons so they played with them for days....you would think we didn't have any other toys in the house since that was all they wanted. The novelty is finally gone. We had a great Valentine's Day. We spent the day going to church, visiting Nana and playing at home.

The girls Valentine Party was also a huge hit. It's funny that it's even called a "party" because a party at the age of 2 consists of snacks you don't otherwise get. Once you eat the snacks the party is practically over but it's cute to be there and participate anyway. Valentine's Day is fun because they also get to trade valentine cards with their classmates. Sarah and Kristen absolutely loved going through the valentine cards once they got home. Sarah even took them to bed when she had a nap the next day.

Sarah was waiting patiently for her afternoon snack.

I ordered these little dresses on eBay. I love eBay and Etsy for cute monogrammed things. I'm almost convinced that I'm about to buy a sewing machine. The one I'm looking at also does embroidery.......I really WANT it very badly so I can just do my own projects.

I sure love these precious little girls.

Last weekend we also got to go to Ainsley's 2nd birthday party. The girls had lots of fun and we certainly enjoyed spending some time with Dan and Alissa.

The Two Sweetest Little Girls

We took these pictures tonight and yes Sarah does still have food on her face from dinner. They are just so sweet and I love them so much. I'm looking forward to this weekend being a lot better than last. Kristen and I didn't feel so well but it ended up just being allergies. Luckily, Zertec for both of us seemed to do the trick.
The girls have been high energy this week. They are at such a great age where everything is funny and exciting. Being two is so awesome.....I love it and I love them.
