The Wedding

Julie & Josh's wedding was so much fun. The Hotel del Coronado is an amazing place but then adding a wedding makes it that much more amazing. The girls looked beautiful as Flower Girls and it was fun spending time with friends.

Mt. Soledad

Last Saturday morning we met Cherie and her family for breakfast and then we all headed to Mt. Soledad. It's now a Veterans Memorial and the views are amazing. You can see all of San Diego, Coronado and parts of Mexico from up there. You can also see mountains one direction and then the shores of La Jolla the other direction. It's beautiful.

More Zoo Time

On Friday morning we took the girls to the wedding rehearsal at the Hotel del and afterwards we headed out for lunch. We went back to In-N-Out Burger for the 2nd time. I loved it....Joe just thought it was o.k. After lunch we went back to the Zoo because all of the wedding guests were invited to the rehearsal dinner and got free zoo passes to use during the day. We met Cherie and checked out the sections of the zoo we didn't see earlier in the week. 

Coronado Beach

Last Thursday we went to the beach with Cherie and her little boy. The beach was incredible. Originally we planned to go to La Jolla Shores but we had a tip that there were lots of stingrays so Cherie suggested Coronado Beach. It truly was fabulous. So fabulous that I'm not sure that I can ever go back to Port Aransas....we're now very spoiled. The water was like ice water but the girls didn't seem to mind. They loved it and were covered in sand by the time we left. It's so nice to be able to go to the beach and stay all day without burning up hot. It was warm but just the right temperature to make it so enjoyable.
