May 30th was the last day of school! They had an end of year party at the school and each grade got to go out at a different time. They had the Kona Ice truck there for sno cones, a DJ, inflatable twister games, hula hoops and other inflatable slides. The girls had a great time. They have blossomed in 1st grade. Their reading levels are at end of 2nd grade levels already and they are doing so incredibly well. They love school and they've got a passion for books and reading. Mrs. Thompson was a fabulous teacher. We were lucky to have her and she's made an impact on them in such a positive way. Thank goodness for awesome teachers and a school that we love. I am incredibly proud of these two wonderful little girls and I know they will both do amazing things in life. My heart is happy.
We ended the day by going to the pool. They met up with their friends Ashley, Summer and Addison and there were others there that they knew. They had a blast.
