Joe got us tickets to Reckless Kelly at Gruene Hall for Valentine's Day and it was this past Saturday. We drove up Saturday afternoon and came back Sunday morning. It was a quick trip so we didn't even get to see Joe's mom (sorry Katie) but we had a fabulous time.
We stayed at the Red Brick Inn, which is part of Gruene River Inn. It's a Bed n Breakfast and it was super cute and extremely convenient. Right next door to Gruene Hall is Gruene Mansion Inn and the Red Brick Inn is next to that so we were walking distance to everything. We were so close that while at Gruene Hall that night I could literally leave and go to our room to use the restroom....I loved that! Reckless Kelly was awesome as usual.....listening to their music makes me very happy!
When we arrived we just walked around Gruene before going back to get ready for dinner. We had dinner at Gruene River Grill and it was so good. Here we are doing our token self portrait. It was a wonderful little get-a-way! :-)
