Christmas Day & Santa Came!

The first thing the girls asked about when they woke up on Christmas morning was the reindeer food. They wanted to go downstairs to see if the reindeer food was gone. We went to the front door and looked out the window of the door to check on the food and sure enough....the reindeer food was all gone. Santa came! They then wanted to see if Santa ate the cookies they left by the tree and they were also gone. They were so excited knowing that Santa and his reindeer enjoyed the treats they left for them.

Then they finally noticed the presents.....Santa brought the girls exactly what they asked for. They both asked for a big girl bike. Kristen asked for a Tinkerbelle and Sarah asked for an Ariel. Santa brought Sarah a Tinkerbelle as well and Kristen got a Jasmine doll. Their bike is pink and purple and has all of the princesses on it. It's already proven to be lots of fun.

After checking out Santa's gifts the girls got to open presents from Mommy & Daddy. They got lots of games, puzzles, coloring books, another doll each, books and a dollhouse. Very lucky little girls!

One game they saw on TV and have been asking for was Hungry Hungry Hippo. They have probably played with that one game so far more than any of their other gifts.

My Dad came over on Christmas Day and had lunch with us, visted with the girls and helped them make a gingerbread house. They really enjoyed seeing their Grandpa. He must love them an awful lot to drive all of this way for a few hours before he had to head home. They sure are lucky little girls to have so many people who love them.

That evening the girls wanted to deliver the gift they got for our neighbor's kids, Grace & Evan. Dave & Sue had several of the other neighbors over so they invited us in. We enjoyed a glass of wine with them while the girls played. Then we headed home and all four of us wanted nothing more than to go to sleep since we were all beat. Christmas was a success and lots of memories were made. This was a fantastic year for us!
