Our neighborhood had a National Night Out celebration last night and there was a great turnout. They had donated Rudy's BBQ, activities for the kids and lots of desserts. The girls also got to check out the fire truck, ambulance and police car. The fire truck was the favorite! Our neighbor is the one who coordinated the entire event. We had a great time but we didn't end up meeting anyone new. I guess everyone on our street likes to stick together because we apparently only socialize with each other......I really like them all so that works out just fine with me.
